When we embarked on this journey, my dad knew what he wanted and where he wanted to go, but as an older gentleman who's been recently widowed, he wasn't sure how to move forward. It would have been beneficial for the team to communicate more effectively with me and in a timely manner as the closing date neared. I believe it would have been most helpful to require more substantial proof of eligibility early on in the home buying process since my situation was unique. Overall, I had a great experience.
