VU originated the first mortgage on my home and the experience was fantastic. So when it was time to re-fi, I came back to VU. This most recent experience left much to be desired. I feel at various times in the process there was a lack of communication, follow-up, and attention to detail. These would make it difficult to recommend VU to others.
The staff is very helpful and extremely good at what they do
Rate originally quoted was raised by the end of the transaction. Transaction took several months to complete. Notary was 1/12 hours late for closing. Funds took over a week to be wire transferred at conclusion.
