Veterans United made my home buying experience stress-free. This experience is by far the most rewarding perk that I've experienced for having faithfully served my country.
Although we had a very positive experience with Veteran's United, I cannot say the same for Fidelity Title Insurance. The notary had to come back 3 times as the proper paper work was not sent. The 2nd time was at a very inconvenient time as my husband had to reschedule numerous jobs for work to get home to sign more papers. The notary called regarding one of the papers on the 2nd trip and although she did what she was told, she had to come back out the following day to have the same paper signed again as they gave her incorrect information. Now I just have to go about getting my name back on the deed due to the paperwork not being done correctly.It would also be very helpful for Veteran's United to inform the client that all chipped or peeling paint must be taken care of before the appraiser gets there. He had to come back also which delayed things a bit.
I have already spoken to a few friends. This has been an extremely easy process. Kevin R and hi team did an outstanding job throughout the process keeping me informed and up to date. A truly satisfied veteran!

While our loan officer was great the steps required and loss of documents which had to be resent as well as general inefficiency nearly cost us our sanity. Too many requirements and too many idiotic rules , particularly a delay if closing 6 days for a change added by the lender one day before closing which required a 3 delay but turned into 6 due to July 4 holiday. Seller upset. Buyers extremely upset and extra costs to the seller which buyer had to pay. We would never use this company again. Ever!
