This process went fairly smoothly and we were approved and closing before we knew it. Even with the few hiccups, from start to finish it only took 40 or so days! The team was fantastic.
the federal government has made the requirements and documentation for a home loan painful regardless of credit history, but Veterans professionals like Mike H. kept the stress for the home buyer to a minimum.
The only negative experience that I took away from Veterans United was a mistake on my closing cost. My realtor and I tried hard to make sure that all closing cost was paid and last minute I was notified that I would have to pay over a grand.
It shows that the staff at Veterans United really does care about Veterans. A true patriotic company.

The experience was initially positive, but things kept chipping away at our confidence.
Everything was handled well with the exception of the miscommunication I experienced with understanding that my loan was contingent on the sell of my previous home. Situations like that costs customers extra expenses having to sell at the 12th hour.
