The process took a long time. I worked with 2 loan specialist Roger Modde & Dave Buchner.They were very professional and knowledgeable and guided us through the entire process. Allison Basnett was also very awesome to work with.
We had to keep resending documents over and over again. That delayed our closing to a 3rd time. Some of the paperwork did not pertain to us. When trying to explain to Dmitry he was not listening or understanding what we said.
I recieved a follow up call from veterans home united within an hour of completing my online initial application. Tim Overshiner gave me his cell and even returned my call while on leave. Great team.

I did find it frustrating when I randomly called after hours for a quick general loan question, but I was only allowed to speak with my loan officer and had to wait until he was back in the office.

real estate agents that have tasks that need to be performed need to be identified to buyer that agent has not completed their tasks as requires. Suggest agents be given a due date for their tasks.
VU should have been more intouch with the appraiser, he took a month to do the appraisel which set the closing back and cost me $1800.00 in extra hotel and storage fees.
I believe that it would be extremely beneficial to the borrower and the lender to "suggest" to the Borrower that they might want to put aside some extra monies they "may" need" at closing.
The online system needs to be evaluated. More user friendly.

Although the interest rates are high, the process was very effective. I liked how we were assigned a single loan officer and not doomed to call a call center to talk to random people every time.
