I had a friend who purchased around the time I did with a traditional loan, no points, and we both got the same rate. I do think we could have done better on the rate given my circumstance. I feel a little ball and chained with escrow - property taxes, etc. - and having no control over it. It was my first time going through this process so many of the barriers I ran into were murky. I recognize time is of the essence in a process like this, I feel at times my lender team wasn’t on top of it, falling behind. Examples are receiving a timely response when needed, risk and benefits of decisions, the why’s around important processes. While I am a bit taken back by the whole process and this experience, all in all, I am comfortable with the purchase, grateful for John and his team putting me into a home. The website is clear and the interface is user friendly/ easy to navigate.

Brice was also exceptional to work with while Chase was out on vacation . The the two worked good together and they were getting communications at all times with each other because when Chase was back from vacation, he was able to jump right back in and knew everything that was going on. I’m very satisfied that I stayed with veterans. united. Would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a home to refinance or finance.
We couldn't have asked for a more positive experience. My team of Zach and Chasity were ALWAYS available to answer questions and provide explanations regarding any matter all the way from making an offer to selecting a home insurance policy. Both representatives were easy to work with, especially regarding my spouse and I's varied work schedules. They both worked well with our realtor and our insurance representative making this a very concise process. Additionally, the setup of the website with certain regard to the to do list section kept us organized and on task.
Veterans United provided me with a great team. Buying my first home was supposed to be, "the most stressful thing you'll ever do". With my team that simply was not true. It was stress free and seamless. The online interface was also very easy to use. Every other bank I attempted to go through made me feel like using my VA Loan was a bad idea, or lousy.
