My Veterans United team was great to communicate with. Too many times I was told the numbers were estimated based on their process. Once they tweak that process, the other processes and phases will go as planned. The new app is good overall. The mobile friendly views are good for their internal documents unless the document has a table. Hard to read outside government documents at the closing phase. I can not speak for long distance moves.
Buying a home can be stressful, but Veterans United made the process much easier. My loan team was responsive, knowledgeable, and kept me informed every step of the way. Even when our closing was delayed because the seller wasn’t ready to move out, they stayed on top of everything and worked hard to keep the loan on track. The loan we had was a difficult loan in that it took so long. And in the nine months of waiting we had to keep doing new paperwork. That was hard considering we didn't want to do things electronically. Kelsey and John Kirby worked with us the best they could, but sometimes I could tell Kelsey was exasperated with us and the process. Glad it is done.
Sometime, all the stress of all the trouble not related to these folks just overwhelmed me but they did a great job of reassuring me that it would all work out. They listened!

My loan officer, documents specialists and general team SERIOUSLY went to WORK for us, like very few civilian teams have!
My credit needed work so I was put on a plan which I thought was an immediate no as we'd attempted several times within the last 5 years to buy a home and we're always turned down even with a good paying job and over 640 credit score by traditional banks etc. It was honestly disheartening as well as demoralizing.
When I told my wife my plan back in May of this year to be in good standing and looking for a home by November I KNOW she was as skeptical as I secretly was due to all of the failed previous attempts.
