Our loan officer was diligent in working with us (on and off for about a year and a half) and we felt a sense of allegiance. However, we were not notified in the beginning that VA was not going to inspect our house. Toward the closing date, Veteran's United process began to crumble further. We were also not notified via writing, about various upcoming processes. The day before closing our loan officer advised us that my husband employment had to be verified. All employees were on vacation. Therefore, we were unable to reach his supervisor or HR staff. We finally tracked down his supervisor while she was on vacation to obtain employment verification, which is a horrible business practice. Down to the last wire, we were trying to get final appraisal release from your appointer appraiser. Funds could not be released until Veterans United processors signed final documents. We sat at the closing table for hours, contacted your office several times and the response time was very slow in every aspect of Veteran's United closing process. Called one of your supervisors for assistance on several occasions and he made incorrect statement which were not upheld.
