For the underwriters- common sense needs to be applied in some cases, when I used a cashier's check I should not have had to get proof that it cleared the bank, its a cashier's check, only cash is more of a garunteed payment.
More verbal communication for important information. I found that sending information via email was great, but not very effective when trying to communicate quickly. I found that sending hard copies of documents through the mail and receiving them via email were confusing at times to decipher what was important or either extra info to keep for my records. Overall we are in our new home and are extremely happy!

Educate underwriters on non-traditional 40hr a week jobs, such as freight train conductor, as I had to prove my mileage was not an extraordinary expense to be penalized for. I Felt like my integrity was being questioned. As a retired veteran, I felt insulted.
