We just feel as though closing was a nightmare for us. We never did fully understand all of the charges incurred. Neither did the Sellers. I continue to receive incorrect payment information from VUHL stating that our payment is $1123.00 a month when the papers that we signed at closing clearly were changed to $1035.89 monthly. We feel that there was a significant amount of closing fees, way more than most companies and yet we kept being told how wonderful VUHL was to give us a $1900 credit to be able to close. To be honest if so much time and effort had not been put into this entire process on our end as well as yours we were seriously considering walking away. It truly made the entire process overwhelming and very uncomfortable. The Sellers made out way better than we did and we feel like VUHL was more on their side than ours. They were willing to pay another $800 to us at closing, however, VUHL advised that would just be placed back towards the "amazing" credit they had given us. We were under the impression we would not have to have money to close and honestly it just all became a mess. We were not even notified until hours before closing how much we had to get from the bank to close regardless of a number of phone calls trying to see what we were going to have to have because it could have made a difference in whether or not we closed. It has taken me some time to even send this because the whole process made moving into our new home somewhat somber. I realize that none of what we have stated is going to matter however, I continue to receive emails requesting this feedback.

I would like to hear from the lender over the phone every week to recieve updates loan officer to client. Communication could be much better and clear lines of qualification for the va loan.
