It was great up until the very end. I was a little disapointed to not find out more information soon after my closing. It was a few days later that I got an email stating when I can expect to start making payments to the new mortgage holder. I wish I had known this sooner.
Not enough rooom here to discuss.
Have a list of everything needed at the begining of the process so you don't have to keep getting more documents time & time again.

VU can be more organized and efficient. We as well as our Realtor were asked to submit the same documents multiple times. Early in the process I had enquired as to our available VA allowance for the new mortgage which would be the second VA mortgage. I was not provided that information until after we signed an offer on a house. It would be a great new part of the process to provide a letter to the buyers early in the process which states exactly what their VA allowance amount is and what the buyer's responsibility is if the buyer borrows beyond that amount.
