I fully acknowledge “site unseen” puts the ownership on us as the buyers for anything not being the way we want it, but as an active duty military family, my honest hope was that we would get more candid feedback from our agent on our behalf while not yet in the state we were purchasing.

The only issue I've had the entire time going through the process of buying the house was at the closing table. The amount of time spent waiting for funds to be approved and sent sat at the closing table for about an hour and a half waiting part of which was my fault for missing a set of initials on one of the pages but was quickly fixed and still waited.
