It was shameful, the hoops they made us jump through and the frustration trying to get a home for my father to enjoy before he dies. And, STILL, as we were driving to close on the house, ANOTHER problem. We were worried until the very end.

We actually had gone to another loan servicer prior to using VU and we didn't have a good experience. We tried VU based on recommendations from family who have used them previously and praised their experience there. From start to finish everyone was very professional, quick to answer our questions thoroughly, and even got us a housewarming gift. Trevor and Jennifer were both so great and we will let everyone we know who is going through a house-buying process, go through them for a stress-free experience! Shawn Workman and his team were the best! He was there to answer any question I had.The underwriters on the other hand. Why ask me to explain something, then ask for proof of the explanation? Just ask for the proof to begin with. And you would expect an underwriter for a VA home loan to know what documents are available on va.gov.

Miles and Nicole did an outstanding job. They both communicated well and were very helpful throughout the entire loan process. Miles would answer questions whenever I asked and was extremely reliable. Nicole was very efficient and kept us all on track with updates and requests for docs.
