Overall, this was a great experience. There were some last minute underwriting issues that seemed like they could have been addressed much sooner. They delayed final approval and caused us some anxiety.
We really enjoyed working with the Veterans United team assigned to us. They were so helpful and nice and made us feel like we were the only customers they had. The home buying experience with Veterans United was the best one we've had yet!
I have not experienced anything like the customer service that I received from VU, in a long time, maybe ever! They actually cared about me and my family. It was not just a business transaction, the team was amazing. I believe that every company in America could model their customer service from VU! As long as VU is in business, I will never deal with another home mortgage lender again!
