Communication was extremely poor. I was constantly having to call and email and call and call again w unanswered questions. I would explain something to my 'loan coordinator' and it would still be on my to do list for days. The whole To Do List was deceptively slick. In the end I felt it bordered on harrassment; because issues would seemingly be resolved but wait nope there it is again on the To Do List. Gotta take care of that to do list, even tho the task was supposed to have been removed by the loan coordinator. I was harrassed for things not even related to my account (a water test that was for another veteran!)Closing was delayed; I don't think I even found that out not even a week prior to the date.I never spoke to my loan coordinator even once, even though I left multiple messages for him to call me back.I still don't know how to set up my mortgage payments. There's a fee that was supposed to be waived because I am 100% disabled - I have no idea if that actually happened. Haley was 'unsure' and Donald never called me back.I had to jump through all sorts of hoops last minute to procure a bank check on a Friday afternoon for a Monday morning closing because no one could give me an actual dollar amount. My realtor was so out of communication I get a text from her the day AFTER closing saying 'did you close?'. Meanwhile she was constantly bragging how she found me my dream home - no she didn't!!! My mom's friend found it on Zillow!!!The appraisal was late, the inspection process was confusing and not properly explained, my house was not properly cleaned upon the move in date.....I feel I could go on but this is starting to affect my blood pressure.

If you're in the Hinesville or surrounding areas I absolutely suggest Mr.Isreal. He was absolutely the best to work with & helped me understand everything I needed as a first time home buyer all the while ensuring I felt comfortable through the process. He answered every single call and every single text message and I really don't think I could have gotten through the process with another loan specialist. Thank you Israel Tinoco. The Veterans United Office is well placed and very clean everytime I visited. I even got a 1st time home owner gift and I absolutely love it.
Please do appraisals before inspections to avoid unnecessary costs if the appraisal comes back less than contracted offer. Check for private roads because you may need a private road agreement/waiver Have all name changes updated in ebenefits so the Certificate of Eligibility isn't delayed. Ask Sellers if they had any equity loans/ lines of credit on the home in the past to provide statements to show they were paid in full. Be mindful of subdivision name changes as some places don't track them but are reflected on deeds etc. Use discernment on whether you are wanting to purchase a home as is because the home inspection (Highly recommrnded) may come back with more optional repairs than the appraisal. Highly recommend negotiating bulk of the closing cost into the offer.
You can't go wrong with the loan officers and staff at Veteran's United. You as the buyer always comes first!
Don’t hesitate to reach out to Veterans United, you won’t regret placing your future in such a capable system and a team with true priorities that are yours!
My home buying experience was fantastic because of the loan coordinators/professionals that were assigned to me. Not only is their professionalism noteworthy, but they showed me that they really cared. For that, I am so grateful.
Veterans United made it easy and special from preapproval to closing day. Tell Rob Riggle I'm ready for my commercial!
Nick and his team did an outstanding job! I’m very pleased that I didn’t have to pull my hair out while buying a house
Ben is awesome to worked with. He helped us through the process very professional i would recommend United Veterans to anyone who would like to buy new home look for Ben Morgan and Anthony they are good people to worked with. They're the best team ever.
Veterans United along with my Loan Officer Sydney and my Realtor Kimberly made the entire home buying process as pain free and simple as I think it could of been. All questions were answered and concerns alleviated during the entire process. I would easily recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a house.
We could be more satisfied with our experience in working with Veterans United for our home loan. Their entire team was great to work with and were constantly updating us with how things were progressing, we were never wondering. Their online myVU portal was extremely easy to navigate and to upload the various documents that was required to close. From start to finish it took us a month - no delays! I highly recommend Danny K., Brian J., Sara M., Jessica O, and the rest of their team. Top notch group. John F. / USMC
Veterans!! Work with the best team when going through the roller coaster of a home purchase. Already enough unknowns, Veterans United provides great loans!
Works well with all aspects of the loan.
Will definitely recommend Veterans United to all friends and family. Was an awesome experience.
if the veteran gets shawn glover as their loan officer she will go above and beyond for you. She explains everything to you. Just an out right great loan officer and her team.
I am grateful for the assistance provided by Veterans United, but the only real complaint I have is not getting return phone calls. Especially when I was told to expect a phone call on a certain day/time. Other than that 👍🏽
A very professional staff and they work hard to complete the processing of your loan. I was surprised at having to spend about $900 on appraisal, termite inspection, and well water test. Overall the experience was very good.
Very proactive. Thank you!
