The team at veterans united are a great team to work with. They were able to navagate the difficult task of asdisting me to find and but a home in a state that i was not living in. They found experts in the state that assisted me to complete the buying process.
Was not informed when had item pop up on list to be done. No explanation on any of the paperwork. People who don't work in the loan business don't know all the steps on how to get loans done, they need to help people not expect the person asking for loan to do all the running around looking for paperwork they say is needed yet don't tell you how or who you need to get the paperwork from. I will not be refinancing my house with Veterans United

Veterans United is the only way to go when you get ready to purchase a home. Our agent Stephen Erickson and his team are the greatest. This was our first time purchasing a home, and we knew absolutely nothing about what we were doing. We explained to Stephen what was going on, and that we did not want to use a realtor since we had been living here for six years, and was buying the house from my niece. Stephen was very understanding, and stated that he would walk us through the process. From the beginning the paper work started rolling in, and quickly we became quite confused. Stephen was there for us no matter how often we called or emailed( many, many times a day) Stephen was there for us quickly, and with an answer. He showed great patience with us no matter how frustrated we were. Sometimes we would talk to Stephen for over an hour even though he was sick. We came up with a closing date, and an estimate on how much out of pocket cash we would need to pay. We started out with a 7.5 interest rate which is quite high. Stephen worked with us, and we closed on the date we had decided on in the beginning. Stephen got our interest rate down to 5.8( thank you my friend), and we paid several thousand less in out of pocket expenses when closing than was predicted. Stephen also got our monthly mortgage payments down less than expected, which helped us greatly since we are on a fixed income. Stephen, and his team are the greatest and we highly recommend them to anyone preparing to purchase a home. We will be using Stephen for our refinancing, and he can be expecting a Christmas card from us every year. Thank you my friend!!
