Overall working with VU was great, sometimes a little tring with the documetation of the paperwork but I guess it is something that has to be done.
Gary and Sherri Melton went out of their way to help find a perfect fit for us. Great realtors.
Thanks Barby and Nathan Corley especially. ..i emailed and faxed him in excess..and he made it seem as though we were a family

Dan Fowler is outstanding
very satisfied with lee sattler andmorgan evans plus the other members of the team
I ended up using a real estate agent that I found on my own because the one originally referred did not quite grasp the type of property we were interested in.
Called back when ever I had questions if he missed a call. Gave great info and very knowledgeable of his job.
I did not review my experience with my initial loan, as I felt at best it was handled very poorly, at worst a bait and switch was pulled on me with regards to rates, leaving me paying .75% higher of a rate than I was originally quoted. Therefore I did not want to put forth any effort to complete a survey. The refinance experience was much different. While I am still .25% over what I was originally quoted with my initial loan application, I feel that I was provided a deeper explanation of the costs, fees, rates, etc., and ultimately the cost to refinance through Veteran's United was cheaper than 2 other options I looked in to.
Great, fun and would highly recommend
Not to sound like I am beating a dead horse in regard to the comments above, but I can not express enough my satisfaction with Veterans United. I first originally spoke with Ryan who did the initial assessment, and then with Jeff. After a couple of emails and phone calls I began to work with Justin, and I thought how many more people will I need to deal with through this process. The thing is though Justin is the only person I needed. Justin worked ceaselessly to ensure that my packet was constantly as updated and administratively correct as it possibly could be. He kept me in the know and informed me of the next step 100% of the time. He calmed my concerns, and fueled my excitement to be purchasing my first home. When ever Justin approached me with a discrepancy, it was clear that he had already laid groundwork and done his homework on how I could alleviate the problem. I can't imagine what he did behind the scenes, because the amount of work I did seemed daunting. Justin shared my concerns and empathized when problems arose. Our jokes and banter came to be something I expected each phone call, but also something I enjoyed. I know that he worked tirelessly, as his name was common in our household. Every time I was even slightly unsure of anything my wife would say "I don't know, call Justin." The best part is that Justin encouraged that I reach him on any whim I felt necessary. After speaking with a military financial consultant I discovered that I had the opportunity to use a different program to purchase my home, and all the leg work that had been previously done would just transfer over with the correct calls through the correct channels. I learned that this switch would literally save me THOUSANDS of dollars. Upon hearing the news I RELUCTANTLY declined, but I just could not fathom my first home purchase with out Justin. He had literally done, so much for me that I began to consider him a friend. Bottom line is the Veterans United gained my business even when I had better opportunities, because of Justin Napier. I will emphatically suggest and recommend anyone in the market to Veterans United, but there first phone call will be Ext.3515
Burt made the whole experience of finding a new home very enjoyable. He was very knowledgable of the real estate market in Ocala. He quickly learned our likes and dislikes in finding the perfect home.
Oustanding experience for our first home!
I would definitely recommend Veteran United. My realtor was at first concerned about Veterans United being so far away from Tennessee but she commented several times how smooth the entire process and closing went!
