I am very pleased with veterans united! Great team and wonderful service!

Veterans United made the process very simple for a first-time homebuyer. Their online portal is easy to use and makes signing documents quick. Katelin was absolutely amazing to work with for our first-time home buying experience. She had our best interest in mind and was a huge help in guiding us through this process. Highly recommend!

Make sure to utilize every service they offer you, it was definitely a big help.

This team of Nicole's was fantastic from start to finish. Very professional and very helpful. I would recommend VU to any Veteran in the Market for a VA loan. Thanks Nicole to you and your entire team, Vern

Absolutely the gold standard for mortgage services! I highly recommend Veterans United and Reece Bader!

I had the best experience throughout; this my second home (sold my first) and the difference is night and day. I absolutely recommend Veterans United, can't beat the rate either. The entire Veterans United team is so professional in what they do, I am so grateful I chose Veterans United to establish my goal of owning a permanent home to live in! Best decision I have made in a long time, thank you Veterans United!

Tried twice to secure a loan, both in same retirement community. 1st was denied day before closing because HUD info could not be verified. Thought 2nd would be smoother since preliminary info already obtained. Every step caused more issues, last minute requests usually required close to weekends so couldn’t get done til Monday, constant delays and set backs. The seller was so frustrated by delays, she called structural engineer to clear the way!! I would suggest a list be provided at beginning of process so buyer knows what to expect ABD can start working on getting everything needed. I. My case, I was in SC clearing out last items from house trying to sell, was contacted about payoff info needed next day! I was traveling, couldn’t get timely info from customer service from bank, had to drive an hour out of my way to find a branch to get the info needed to email the closing company do I could finally close the next day. This could have been avoided if I had been told to get info when we knew we were paying off other debt!!
Response from Veterans United
Hi Linda,
I’m really sorry to hear how stressful both of your loan experiences felt. Last-minute requests and repeated delays can make the process overwhelming, especially when you’re juggling a move and traveling. I can see how frustrating it must have been to track down payoff info on short notice and how much smoother things could have been if you had that list earlier in the process. Your feedback matters, and I’d like to learn more about what happened. If you’re open to it, please reach out to our Client Advocate team at ClientAdvocate@vu.com or 1-800-212-5200.
