First of all, I want to commend VU on flawless service and thank you for taking care of me and the other veterans. My experience was a long process due to the market but however the VU team stuck by my side each and every way. They even called me to check on the realtor that was recommended to make sure their standard was being up held up. The VU team engagement was great, I needed being that I am first time buyer. I appreciate Ben, Mirza and the rest of their are amazing. I would recommend them all whom in the hunt for a upstanding lender Veterans United is the way! Will not be using Veterans United again. My loan officer, Kris Ball, made this a horrible first-time buying experience for us. He did a poor job of explaining things to us, especially during the week of closing. When asked if it was his job to explain the loan estimate numbers to us, he said “No” and that we should talk to the title company. When he actually did talk to us, he would try to talk over us and would barely let us finish a sentence before interrupting. We had to report him to a manager and had to have the manager explain the loan estimate numbers to us.
