Very easy process, kept me in the loop every step of the way
As a first time home buyer, I went through a rollercoaster of emotions throughout this process. Lance Hopper and his team went out of their way to make sure I knew what to expect through the process. I even had a family emergency during this process that put things on pause. The first thing that Lance said to me was take care of family and we'll still be here. Throughout this process, I did not just feel like another number with Veterans United. As a Marine, I have always had a mentality of "get things done"....but with Veterans United, they made sure I was prepared for the whole process.
Whitney did an amazing job and made everything so easy and friendly.
This was the first time I got to use my VA benefits and the entire team was great! They were all knowledgeable and worked with urgency.
Poor overall experience. Way too many people involved, main person I was dealing with was on a plane during closing. Was promised 600-800 dollars at time of closing, but instead they ended up *trying* to bill me like $150 at time of closing. Also sent me a lot of HUD’s with incorrect numbers. I will not be recommending this lender to any of my veteran friends at all. I wish I would’ve used a different company.
Veterans United made our home-buying experience easy from start to finish. Our loan officers were always helpful, responsive, and kept us informed every step of the way. Home buying can be stressful especially when you’re juggling regular life with a bunch of kids. Understanding the lending process let alone a VA Loan was a lot of work (for me). Veterans United made the process simple and my loan officer, Rachel was outstanding! Made the process simple. Clearly communicated every step of the way. And fought for our best interests when the seller was committed to their own best interests. I’d recommend Rachel and Veterans United in a heartbeat.

We like her quote because it gives us more breathing room from the old one, so we proceed to go forward with her.
