Veterans United’s customer service throughout the entire process was top notch. Communication was fast, which kept the home buying timeline on track, I could tell work was always going on and nothing was ever at a standstill. My home buying team, Arlo and Natalie, were personable and accommodating no matter how big or small my questions and concerns were. They were the reason I chose VU over other lenders for my loan.
Matt Landis is a man of God first and was an exceptional lender to work with. He made me feel comfortable and was sure to walk me through each step of the process so I understood what was going on. A lot of lenders are just "doing their job" but Matt went above and beyond for me and I would recommend anyone to work with him.
As a first time home buyer, I went through a rollercoaster of emotions throughout this process. Lance Hopper and his team went out of their way to make sure I knew what to expect through the process. I even had a family emergency during this process that put things on pause. The first thing that Lance said to me was take care of family and we'll still be here. Throughout this process, I did not just feel like another number with Veterans United. As a Marine, I have always had a mentality of "get things done"....but with Veterans United, they made sure I was prepared for the whole process.
To be honest this isn’t the best option at all. Communication is so poor, I mean poor poor. I’m grateful I got my new home thru them but rates are horrible, however I didn’t want to stop my train and jump ship to another lender because I was so far in the process.

The whole team was amazing!
I felt as they had my back the whole time. They were patient with me and always available when I asked questions. Sometimes the questions were answered on off hours or weekends when I knew they weren't at work. I appreciated their dedication and promptness in responding to my concerns.
