Nick made me feel so safe going through this process. I have trust issues and I can be pretty pessimistic about things, but Nick was wonderful in explaining everything to me, giving me updates on the process at every stage. He really listened to my concerns and focused on allaying them. He was also very proactive preemptive, bringing up questions that I had but hadn’t been able to formulate and verbalize yet. He was kind and approachable without being the overly enthusiastic, over bearing “salesman” type. I could let my guard down.

The whole process was very easy on my part. I was guided each step along the way and was always updated and informed about the current/next step on the process. We had an extremely stressful, disorganized, and untimely experience with Veterans United. My client said they would never use them again after our experience. We had an 11 day delay on closing because of items that should have come up previously but waited to be brought up until the week before closing. Terrible communication and response.

Delays so close to closing, especially when concerns feel like they should have been addressed much earlier in the process, can create a lot of unnecessary stress and uncertainty. I can understand why the lack of communication and responsiveness left such a negative impression.

We know how important it is to keep everyone informed throughout the homebuying process, including agents and borrowers, and I’m sorry that didn’t happen here. An 11-day closing delay is significant, and it’s understandable that your client walked away feeling disappointed after the experience.

Our experience with Tommy Purk was nothing short of fantastic. My fiancé and I cannot fully begin to express our gratitude for his and Thomas Sutton’s services. Tommy and Thomas managed to exceed all of our expectations and are truly rare gems in this field. It’s not often that you work with a loan team only to feel like great friends by the end of it.

One of Tommy’s absolute standout qualities is his ability to problem-solve. He quickly and creatively addressed several unavoidable setbacks during our home-buying process. If it weren’t for his out-of-the-box thinking, bias for action, and adaptability, I truly don’t think we could have closed as quickly or smoothly.
