Chris Angelo was my loan officer, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about him. He was extremely patient, helpful, and consistent throughout the entire process. We worked together for about a year trying to find the right house, and he stuck with us the whole way.Once we finally found the house, Andrew came in as our loan specialist, and the guy means business. He was incredibly efficient, stayed on top of everything, and is clearly very good at what he does. Julia, our home buying concierge, was also great and helped us throughout the process whenever we needed her.Really, the entire Veterans United team was amazing. I had a pleasurable experience with Veterans United and even after closing on the home, they said they would be there for any questions I would have. My whole team has been great even through the delays by the seller. I would recommend Veterans United to any veterans looking to use their VA loan to buy a house.
It was the worst experience I have been through in my adult life. After submitting a requested document, a couple of days would go by and they would ask for a different document. Closing date didn't matter to VU, absolutely awful. And they just said it is normal (and it it probably is to them because they are so bad).

I can understand how discouraging it must have been to repeatedly provide documents, only to be asked for something else days later, especially with your closing date approaching. While additional documentation can sometimes be needed throughout the loan process, I know that doesn't make the uncertainty or delays any less frustrating.

Miguel, Keagen, and the whole team at Veterans United were the very best. The whole homebuying process/experience was smooth from start to finish. From the first call to their office, Miguel didn't just answer our questions, he explained it in detail.
