Everyone on the team were very helpful helping me throw the systems.
Kevin and his team were exceptional! This whole process was seamless and professionally handled in lightening speed! Highly highly recommend! Kevin and his team did their magic and helped us get the home of our dreams.
For my first time buying a home, this was a seamless process. I was really impressed how smooth this went. Everyone here was great. Really quick to answer any questions I had and my wife and I are incredibly grateful for this entire team that made it such a smooth and easy process. Thank you, y'all did a great job.
Everything went so smooth from first contact to the closing.
Honestly amazing people to work with!
Excellent customer services and very prompt!
Thank you Veterans United for taking care of us and making my first time home buyer experience smooth. I appreciate y'all.
Corey was great to work with. He was thorough and straight forward at every turn.
4 months 14 days later I'm Finally done with this nightmare. One unnecessary complication after another. I suspect biased service / treatment throughout the ENTIRE process. Very little useful guidance or assistance from my "team" (except for Melissa she was Awesome and did what she could to help) lackadaisical to no communication combined with days of absolutely no progress. My loan officer was out of the office for weeks on end, well aware of the closing date when he left. Reflecting it appears there was no concern or communication about handing off my file to someone that would be in the office able to give my file the attention it needed. To accept a contractual down payment while questioning rent credits from the same funds and contract is mind blowing no one can make that make sense on their best day. In short if Anyone ask me about this company my words will be "RUN AWAY fast and far as you can. There are better options I'm sure!".
OK, so, I have always preferred renting for the convenience, but then about a year ago I was somehow inspired to buy a home, if I could find the right now. I h ad stumbled onto VU and had contacted them with my interest in doing a VA loan, which would be my first. My best friend "sister" and I spent months trying to find one close to her house, (My mom has dementia and I am her caregiver and my friend and her family have helped me care for her and she has become part of their family) Unfortunately, they were all high priced and still a bit away distance-wise, so we kind of tabled it for another time. For anyone who doesn't think prayer works, they might want to recheck that! A mutual friend of ours owned a house literally across the street, and one day she told us that she and her husband were going to move back to TX and they decided to finally sell the house. Once my friend told her about me wanting it, she didn't even list it, instead doing a FSBO, which took out the middle man. I contacted Alec and crew to tell him I had finally found a house and he was so excited for me! He literally took care of everything and brought in Elizabeth and Blake to hold my hand through the process, which took less than a month! When they said they were going to do something, they did it and with high quality caring. They found a title company locally that also was awesome with very helpful and attentive people. They even had gotten a beautiful sign made for my craft room! It was one of the very few times in my life that I have done business with an organization/company where it was obvious these people had answered a calling to do this and genuinely loved it. They are an example of what customer care (aka service) is supposed to be like. I've been an RN for over 30 years, and a psychotherapist for over 7 years, so I know first hand the importance of making sure my clients feel taken care of. I have their phone numbers starred in my contact list, and whenever I meet a fellow Veteran wanting to purchase, Veterans United will be THE first company, and they will be the first names I give out. Somebody, please give these folks a raise, or at least a nice Christmas bonus!
Thanks for everything and Merry Christmas!

I was not thrilled with some of your underwriter's requirements. However, Dan and Jenny were always awesome to deal with when I got frustrated. Having people like that can make all of the difference when you are constantly supplying paperwork. Dan and Jenny were always upbeat and never too busy to help.
Torri Thomas, who was our loan officer was superb in all aspects of the loan process. She was there 24/7 to answer all of our questions and explain complex language that are typical on these types of documents to layman's terms that can be easily understood even to us common folks. She was very patient and always gave us the heads-up on what to expect next, so there were never any surprises that we did not know about, so we never felt over or heads with all the paperwork that comes with buying a new home. Torri always makes you feel like she has your back and for that we felt very comfortable though the whole process.Kristine Wilder was part of our loan team, and she kept the process moving along by sending reminders of items that needed our attention or by working with the underwriters to make sure our application moved forward without any problems.Veterans United are very lucky and should be proud to have Torri and Kristine on their staff representing them and working with veterans like us to assist us in bettering our lives and our families' lives....Thank you once again Ms. Thomas and Ms. Wilder for all that you do!
Mark and his team are awesome and ensure that everything has been handled in a timely matter

A real smooth transaction from beginning to end when we hit a rough spot Jamie fixed it promptly
This is our second time working with the team at veterans United, they did a fantastic job! We love working with them. They are always so helpful, no matter how many questions we had. 10/10!
Buying a house is stressful enough, the VA Home Loan team made it easy for me. They walked me through the process from home insurance to the relator.
After 5 years of looking for a home that I wanted and that was in my price range - my credit union was only interested in a house they wanted me to buy. I decided to call Veterans United and, 6 weeks later, I spent last night in my new home! It was the easiest purchase I have ever made. Thank you for all you do for us grumpy old veterans!😁
