This whole process is very stressful and everyone that I delt with were so understanding and did everything to help me over and above what they normally have to do! They were so kind to me and my 79 year old ways! I lost my 15 year old dog that was my life and they were so kind knowing that I wanted to get him to the new house and give him the joy of being safe and feel free to walk on his own! I am so grateful to everyone.
I was retiring from the Air Force after 20 years and never purchased a home. I was hesitant to purchase a home because of all the stories I had heard from people serving. I was having a conversation with a fellow service member about how I was not looking forward to all the hassle of buying a home. He stated he went through Veterans United and they made it easy. Following his advice, I googled the number and had people help walk me through the entire process. Although there were hiccups none of them came from Veterans United. These obstacles were on the sellers side. Regardless, they made sure I stayed informed and helped me and my wife get our dream home. I would highly recommend them to anyone anxious about or just wanting to make buying a home easier.

As a first time home buyer, I went through a rollercoaster of emotions throughout this process. Lance Hopper and his team went out of their way to make sure I knew what to expect through the process. I even had a family emergency during this process that put things on pause. The first thing that Lance said to me was take care of family and we'll still be here. Throughout this process, I did not just feel like another number with Veterans United. As a Marine, I have always had a mentality of "get things done"....but with Veterans United, they made sure I was prepared for the whole process.
We couldn't have asked for a better loan officer than Christina and her team! They helped us secure our home with ease. It was a long process with lots of hurdles but they were by our side every step of the way. They have excellent communication and were always quick and effective with each new task that needed to be completed. We would 10/10 recommend Christina and Veterans United to family and friends!

Home buying can be stressful especially when you’re juggling regular life with a bunch of kids. Understanding the lending process let alone a VA Loan was a lot of work (for me). Veterans United made the process simple and my loan officer, Rachel was outstanding! Made the process simple. Clearly communicated every step of the way. And fought for our best interests when the seller was committed to their own best interests. I’d recommend Rachel and Veterans United in a heartbeat.
Rachel was my loan officer for my first mortgage six years prior and just amazing! When I went to apply for a new loan this year I wasn’t sure who my loan officer would be but hoping by some grace of God they would be as great as Rachel and we got Rachel AGAIN. That’s probably how it works but I had no idea! I was so pleased to get Rachel again and would recommend her to any and everyone! She was even willing to help when she wasn’t officially our loan officer (during the application process). She was responsive in the weirdest times of day and if she couldnt answer right then, someone did! She helped with EVERYTHING. She helped me with questions I had even if they weren’t in her realm of her job. I truly believe she had our best interest in mind very step of the way. We texted back and forth over our numbers over and over until we were comfortable with the number with no annoyance or irritation in sight! She was a BLESSING to work with and hope many other people get to work with her and I know for a fact even though we closed, she will 100% help with anything I may need help with. She also made the stressful process of buying a house seamless and straight forward! I’m sure the other loan officer are great but I count myself lucky to have had her during this process. Go get you a Rachel!
