I wanna say mister Ross Pierson and Matt they are the best guys you have they work with me day and night they are the best.
Well other than occurring way more closing costs out of pocket than we expected, we had a very good overall experience with VUHL!
Tamara and Christina were awesome! This was a satisfying experience. I would definitely recommend Veterans United to anyone wanting to buy a home. Thank you! It feels great to be a homeowner!
our loan officer was exceptionaleven with all the little problems that kept coming up he would go above and beyond any task that was thrown at him to make mine and my wife's dream come true of owning our own home. My son who's fixing to buy a home even said he was very impressed with the over achievement and actions that are loan officer took in helping us get this house I would recommend va to anyonewho is purchasing a home you guys knocked a homerun thanks again for making my dreams come true.without Sam this would have never happened thank you Sam
When I called I wanted a gentlemen named Brandon however he was not available so I was forwarded to Dave Munns. We were to have someone local come to our home and explain the paperwork we had to sign but the day before she was to come out they discontinued the service. When I called Dave and asked him to go over the paperwork with me he told me it was pretty much just signing and returning the paperwork. He did answer my specific email questions. The loan process was never explained to me at any time it was expected that I knew what was going on during each step - which as a first time home buyer I was not. I was told we would not have to put any money out up front but in looking for a home we thought we were going to have to come up with closing costs the entire process of was not explained to us. In fact we spoke with two other mortgage companies who did explain what was happening and how things were going to work and how to proceed with the purchase of the house. The only reason we remained with United is because of Richard's credit history if not for that we would have used another company. When we went to sign for the house we were not informed of all the additional hidden fees that United charges which increases our mortgage. It would be helpful to know about these at the beginning of the process - these were never mentioned to me in my conversations with Dave or Molly.

Thank you! Happy with our team and LOVE our new home!
I feel like I the end everybody was working more to please the builder/seller and not working for us which left us very frustrated. Everything from everybody else desiding on the closing and not really working with us on it, I was out of town working and out couldn't wait, which left my wife trying to do it on her own....it had to be rushed and then things weren't ready. Our interest rate was locked in without my permission and then we were just stuck with it. It started out great but left us feeling frustrated and very dissatisfied in the end.
From start to finish in my loan process, I had the pleasure of dealing with true professionals.
When I first started, I was dealing with Amanda Thurman who through her guidance, I was able to get the required credit scores, to further my application to Secondary approval. not only did this help greatly for a loan but I was able to learn life long credit lessons from her professionalism.
Once my application was in secondary, I Worked with several representatives. Knick Kundert and Eric Barroso. These guys were great in gathering all required documents and Guiding me through the whole pre-Underwrighting process. These individuals, not only professionals but Real people who understand Real people. The complete communications throught this whole process was awsome and Lead to my success of getting that perfect new home.
Thanks VU for all! I will definately refer VU to anyone interested in getting a loan

New Home owner
Everyone wnet out of their way to answer my many questions, Great job!
The appraiser was horrible with communicating with realtor and and loan officer. That was the longest part of this buying experience.
Breck Frecking is an outstanding loan officer. Since our first conversation Ms. Frecking was professional and very knowledgable through the entire financing process. Ms. Frecking kept us informed and on track throughout the entire process which was extremly helpful keeping our home buying on schedule for this summer. We would like to thank Ms. Frecking and Veterans United with helping our family to achieve our dream of becoming a home owner.
Learn more about what deployments actually are and how to deal with spouses of a deployed military service member! Get an understanding and sincerity towards deployed spouses! It is NOT easy to get paper work signed and sent back to you at the drop of a hat by a DEPLOYED SERVICE MEMBER! Make sure you READ ALL THE DOCUMENTS your clients send you, like for example Power of Atternories, to make sure they are what you need instead of telling me TWO DAYS BEFORE CLOSING THE POWER OF ATTORNY I SENT YOU TWO MONTHS AGO WON'T WORK FOR A VA LOAN because you didn't read it or you didn't know. Most of the questions I asked the loan officers were unsure, which surprised me because they are supposed to be expierenced in dealing with military. Also it would be nice if the loan officers would respond to emails and voicemails, but they hardly ever did. I always had to keep calling and emailing to get in touch with anyone! It made me MAD when my loan officers would inform everyone BUT me on the process of the loan. It was a horrible, stressful, LONG experience and it would've been nice if the loan officers would've been more punctual because I am the spouse of a deployed service member and raising our 11 month old son. I've got enough to worry about and my loan officers didn't do anything to help take the stress off my shoulders some. One of the loan officers actually asked me, in an email, if my husband were going to come home for closing!!!!! Like it was no big deal for him to hop on a plane and be here for closing, very insincere!!!!! Another loan officer informed everyone on my end (agents, title companies, ect) that we were clear to close, without mentioning to them that he had asked me last minute to get an "alive and well statement" signed by a Commanding Officer of my husband who is, as I mentioned, DEPLOYED! So I then had to crush everyone's hopes of closing because it isn't easy to get paperwork sent to a ship, signed, and emailed back! Shocked by clueless loan officers.
Ben is a great person, extremely professional.
Ben made the experience of becoming a home owner much easier by keep us informed every step of the way. Ben followed through and returned our phone calls quickly and efficiently.
Overall he is a great asset to VUHL
Dan and his whole team did an outstanding job working with my wife and I. Keeping us informed in a timely manner, we are really please with their service.
Being first time buyers, Ryan Ponder and Ross Pierson and the rest of the staff made it a smooth ride. It was a great experience and would definitely recommend Veterans United!!

I don't believe we will be doing a testimonial!
We all want to win at Casino's, the Lottery, Bingo etc... But I feel I was a HUGE winner when I came across Joey & Jessica Jones from the very beginning I was welcomed, treated as if I was a VIP Customer, received very nice welcome gift!! I struck the lottery when I made contact with Joey & Jessica I told all my family how friendly and how prompt and courteous Veterans United employees were!!! I felt as if I truly was family member being help by another family member that is how comfortable these two individuals made me feel. There are companies that people say they were great "BUT" well I have NO "BUT" because they were EXCELLENT!!! VETERANS UNITED YOU GET A 100% FROM ME FOR GREATNESS!!!
The process went as smoothly as it could, and Neal really kept up with me, and made sure that i had all the info I needed, as well as worked with me to get the best outcome possible.
The only negative I had in buying a house was that after I made an offer and it was accepted my good faith estimate had my interest rate was 4.3% and I felt that the rate should have been locked in at that time. Being a first time buyer I wasn't aware that I had to tell my loan officer that I wanted to lock that rate in. A week later my rate was locked in at 4.875% costing me and my family a substantial amount of money over the life of my loan, good for you the lender but bad for me the buyer. In the future assume that the person your dealing with has no experience in dealing with banks when it comes to loans there are questions that 1st time home buyers don't even know to ask. Instead of trying to eek out every last cent you can out of a buyer know that they are human beings with a family and not just your bottom line or bonus money at the christmas party . You are a lender that deals with veterans young men and women who serve this country honorably and should be treated as such not just with friendliness over the phone but with actions. While I am ecstatic that my family and I have a home thanks to veterans united the interest rate problem is extremely aggravating to me overall
My team all around was great. I can't wait to buy my next house so I can use them again!
my loan officer,(Dave Llewellyn) went well and beyond in working for me. we had our ruff moments and fought through every step together. i say we because, it was like being part of a family in every step of the way and even though we never met i would call him a friend and part of one of my biggest moment in my life. there is no word i can find in the human language to express how grateful me and my family feel or can say, so thank you very much from the deepest point in my heart and my god bless you all.
