Ted was extremely helpful! He was able to answer every question i had, give me sound advice, and he worked patiently with me. I am currently serving in Afghanistan and he understood my hours aren't opposite his. He is very kind and has superb people skills! I will be recommending him to ALL my veteran friends and family when i return state side! Thank you Ted for helping my wife and myself achieve our dream of home ownership!
My experience with VU was excellent. From my first call and initial discussion they were very professional and friendly. They were clearly interested in helping me obtain financing.

To continue from above... I prefer verbal as opposed to electronic communications for incidents that involve a high financial commitment or when accuracy is critical. Not only did I receive emails but they were often vague in detail with no followup on the phone. One incident relating to a deadline, made me call Andrea who was extremely flippant in her response, seemingly unable to grasp that there was a closing date in place that had a financial implication to me attached to it. Her response was something to the effect of "well we have a few weeks to take care of this" when the closing day was in a FEW DAYS!!!!! I immediately redirected my efforts back to communicating with Ginny Young, who promptly rectified the situation. A final issue arose two business days before closing about re-verifying my employment status. There was some change to the military system (again this should have been known by someone in the company that a change was forthcoming) and I couldn't access the system that Andrea said I needed to use or "else a failure to close could occur." When I directed my anxious, stress-induced fears towards Ginny she got somewhat perturbed but did her best to reduce my stress and say that the issue was "no big deal" and she was confident that the closing would occur on time (which it did). The question than is, if "no big deal" why attach a statement in the email that says failure to use a particular system in a particular time-frame will result in a failure to close. This might be standard wording but than, I would say, based on your client's particular situation, make a phone call and say don't worry about this, we'll handle it, or we will close on time, ect. The process of closing on a house is significantly stressful on its own merit; poorly trained assistants who don't understand this and act in a flippant manner and send out irresponsible emails should be retrained. I can be reached at 732-300-9397. I would explain this before recommending
the Veterans United team was outstanding. Along with prompt response time the quality of service I felt that I was in good hands at all times. they gave it vice when he did and Justin's to help me speed up the process of acquiring a loan. I think most of all their patience, knowledge of the business and expertise contributed heavily to the securing of my loan. Even when it seemed they were probably ad busy as a bee; they made me seem like I was the only person that was calling to ask a question and they gave me a prompt answer when needed. Thank you VU.
Neal Roeder and Roxanne Helmka were awesome to work with. Neal was always responsive to my questions and anything I needed. His work on getting the closing done was nothing short of a miracle. I will tell all of my friends to use Veterans United Home Loans in the future.
I had started working with Harris Gieger initially and there was a transition to Ben Muzzey. Both were extremely professional and the hand-off went very smoothly. Communication was always prompt and I knew what I needed to put together and when it was due at all times. Thanks for the effort and for helping me get into my new home. I will be sure to refer Veterans United Home Loans to my military friends.
Ben Muzzy was thrown into our loan process due to a family emergency of our first loan officer, and he did a great job taking care of our needs and process. He is a professional and great person!
I have already referred a fiend.
I would recommend Tyler Billington to all Veterans. He is one of the first helpful and honest business individuals in the mortgage industry. I hope Veterans United rewards him for all the help he gave my wife and myself
Andy was very helpful!! He kept us well informed and let us know what to expect next in the process!! Worked very diligently with us and help us know exactly what was expected of us in order to close on our new home!
Wonderful people and service. Was definitely a pleasure to work with.
I do recommend not only Veterans United but my loan officer Alex Herbal. He is extremely knowledgable, professional, and pleasant to work with. He responds to calls and e-mails promptly and gets information or whatever is needed quickly and efficiently. This is why with all the solicitations we get did we go back to Alex to do our refinance. Again, we highly recommend him to any seeking a VA loan. We've tried the "other guys" long ago (before our original purchase) and it was a terrible experience that we did not complete our transaction with them. We found Alex and your company and we have been very well taken care of by efficient and knowledgable staff... why would we go anywhere else? Also your rates are better. What a great package!! (please do not use our last name on any testimonials-thank you)
Im very happy with all they did, never worked with a team so good I have also told friends again THANKS ALOT DON
