I would highly recommend my loan officer Shawn Hall. Very professional and was always there when I needed him with questions or advice. In fact we talked so much throughout the process of my VA home loan that Shawn became a friend. With this tough market I was ready to give up a few times. This man always found a way to turn things in a positive direction for me. In the end I found the house I’ve always wanted and my team made sure we closed fast. Thank you Shawn!

I used Veterans United for my first home purchase in 2019, and I had such a good experience then that they were my first and only choice when I decided to refinance in 2022. It was a pleasure dealing with Danny Kliethermes again. Chris Primmer did a great job stepping in to finalize the loan while Danny was out of the office. Jenny Foster was an absolute rockstar coordinating all the documentation I needed, helping me find a new insurance provider to stay under budget, and communicating with me regularly throughout the process. The VU website and app made reviewing and uploading documents a painless process. Overall I’m completely satisfied with Veterans United and I recommend them to any veteran seeking a home loan.
Overall my experience with the VA home loan was a nightmare and there were definitely things Veteran's United could've done way better. I felt there was a huge lack of communication there between then after the appraisals and the end stages of the closing. It felt like a nightmare and I was finding out had news here and there from outside sources like my realtor that they should have been telling me, but because so much had already slipped past them, like a corrupt appraiser that wasn't doing his job and I was on edge, it felt like they didn't wanna deal with me anymore. Overall my team did fight hard to get me my home though and I appreciate all the trouble Jon went through to get me here.
