Drennan and Nico were great. Drennan helped me from start to finish, helping me the whole way. Nico also helped me once I found my house. Both were patient with me when I had mini freak outs during the process. Both of these guys handled everything like pros and handled everything that I asked of them.

Brandon was very friendly and helpful—he searched through different home insurance options, gave moving company recommendations and price matches, and helped with internet, electric, etc. Stephanie at VU went above and beyond when I had some trouble with my credit scores—she was always checking in, processing documents quickly, and it really felt like she was rooting for us to make it to closing. I want to start off by expressing my gratitude to Nick and his team for a seamless home buying process. My Family and I are truly grateful. After doing some research on Veterans United Home Loans, we made the decision to move forward with them to purchase a home. From the initial representative I made contact with to the Loan Officer and his team, every single one of them went above and beyond to ensure a smooth and successful process. I definitely would not hesitate to reach out to Nick again and highly recommended him to Veterans looking to purchase a home. You will not be disappointed.
Communication and professionalism was great until the end. Our closing was delayed for a couple days, but we were not informed until the night before. I did not personally speak to Madeline, but Jay sent the following text to my client: “ it sounds like your two biggest issues are utilities starting & help moving. They will be able to easily update the effective date for your utilities if you call them. I regards to the move itself you are staying with family currently correct? So you will not be homeless or have no where to stay for the 2 extra days between Tuesday & Thursday right?”
Especially considering the number of homeless vets in the world today, this was extremely disrespectful and disappointing. I will not be recommending this lender to any of my future clients.

I recommend any veteran that is looking to buy a home to do it through Veterans United. I’ve dealt with other home lenders and it’s normally a difficult process. Some lenders say they specialize in VA loans but I never seems that way. Veterans United only deals with veterans and they know exactly what’s they are doing. Nick is the absolute best. This is the second home purchase he has assisted us with and made the process easy for both. Although we have never met in person he has always treated us as a friend not a client. His efforts have allowed us to finally purchase our forever home and for that we are extremely grateful to him.
