Their communication was fantastic from start to finish, and they always took the time to listen to our needs and answer any questions we had. Buying a home can be very stressful, but they made the process feel much more manageable with their guidance and support.

I recommend any veteran that is looking to buy a home to do it through Veterans United. I’ve dealt with other home lenders and it’s normally a difficult process. We had an extremely stressful, disorganized, and untimely experience with Veterans United. My client said they would never use them again after our experience. We had an 11 day delay on closing because of items that should have come up previously but waited to be brought up until the week before closing. Terrible communication and response.

Delays so close to closing, especially when concerns feel like they should have been addressed much earlier in the process, can create a lot of unnecessary stress and uncertainty. I can understand why the lack of communication and responsiveness left such a negative impression.
We know how important it is to keep everyone informed throughout the homebuying process, including agents and borrowers, and I’m sorry that didn’t happen here. An 11-day closing delay is significant, and it’s understandable that your client walked away feeling disappointed after the experience.
