Billy went out of his way to help solve a last minute issue on our recent refinance. He also approached me with the deal to begin with. Billy and his team made everything as easy as possible, answered questions at night and over weekends. I feel like it's a fair deal to begin with but another mortgage company would have to move mountains for us to leave. We really appreciate Billy's help but more than that we know we can trust he has our best interest in mind. Working with Veterans United involves deep reviews of what is on paper versa what they say on the phone. The two do not match and they seem to change the terms, loan amount, after you sign the initial agreement and they keep doing so until you are either worn down or you get close to what you want. I did not care for all the back and forth of loan terms. It was too much like bargaining with a street vendor. However, if you are one who love to barter, they are the ones to do it with.
