I was stuck deciding between two different lenders. I ultimately decided on Veterans United because my lender, Aaron was super friendly and the website was also very user friendly to upload and sign documents off of. Also, they offered me a credit on closing costs for using my realtor. Great people!

The service wasn’t what I expected based off the reviews I read. It wasn’t a horrible experience, but it wasn’t what I was led to believe.If honest feedback is required: I think I spoke to my loan officer 2 times total over the phone. I did receive some email traffic from her but I expected more direct communication. Several times she would state she would call me but would not follow through. Not what I was expecting from the VU team. No follow through the entire last week of the closing.The concierge was great. Contacted me more than any other team member and was very professional and knowledgeable. He appears to care greatly about his job and the customer.My loan coordinator was excellent. Very prompt and answered any questions in great depth and detail. I was never left wondering.Overall; I wouldn’t recommend VU due to the lack of communication overall. But I will say their application and verification process was extremely easy. Thank you.
