I think the overall protocol at any financial institution regarding home loans should be changed. The preapproval is not a real approval I personally would rather wait to receive an indefinite approval prior to look at properties, putting down deposits and paying for inspections then after everything you get the clear to close but again that is across the board protocol.

My team at Veterans United went above and beyond to get me into my childhood home. They were very thorough about the process and was always checking up on me.
This team was by far the best team i have worked with in my almost 30 years of service and the ownership of three houses prior. I worked with others that claimed to understand the military families and always found myself explaining how the military pay, both active duty and Retirment pays. this team not only understood DFAS and VA, they also knew how to find the answer.
