Since the beginning till the very last day of the process, veterans united was very supportive and informative. The team assigned to me made everything smooth and easy to navigate. Having a real person to assist throughout the entirety of the transaction was really helpful. Kelsey and Matt left no question unanswered. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to buy a property. Thank you veterans united.
While I have been very pleased with the level of service provided, I have observed that current market rates for comparable profiles appear more competitive elsewhere. Consequently, I believe it would be financially prudent for me to explore alternative financing options to ensure I am securing the most economical rate.
Process was simple and easy to get approved. Andy Miller was fantastic to work with. Was kept in the loop during entire process, and had everything explained to me in detail as I was a first time home-buyer. He made sure all of my questions were answered and never made me feel "rushed". Highly recommend ????
Alex Dickherber was always on top of everything. No surprises! It was a long process for me but Alex checked in with on a routine basis.
Made it easy and streamlined!
Veterans United was wonderful to work with. Answered all the questions we had.
The communication between the initial loan startup and the closing was an easy going experience. If you submit documentation in a timely manner, the process should go smoothly.
I did not care for one of the so called team members. Never available via text or phone. Very vague in responses when I asked questions about information she had sent, very confusing information.
Loan officer was good, however there were just too many "to do" items sent after midnight and 2am that I would not see until the next day.
Response from Veterans United
Hi Pamela,
Thanks for sharing this feedback. I’m sorry for the frustration caused by unclear communication and not being able to reach one of the team members when you needed answers. I also understand how confusing it can be to receive multiple to-do items late at night or early in the morning and not see them until the next day.
I do appreciate you calling out the positive experience with your loan officer. If you’re open to it, I’d really like to learn more and see how we can do better. Our Client Advocate team is available at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST.
Sincerely,
Claire S., Client Relations Manager
The process the company has adopted has been streamlined beautifully. The interface is incredibly user-friendly and it's very easy to find any information that may be needed.
Working with Brice Mueller through this process was great. It was great talking with him and achieving the results we wanted.
The team i worked with had the upmost respect, and we're available to answer any questions I had in a timely manner 10 out of 10 would buy/sell through veterans United again thank you very much for making this process easy and enjoyable.
Kelly Stephens was patient over the phone and explained what needed to be done when I did not want to upload my docs online to the Veterans United Home Loan site. She then contacted the attorney's office to request a hard copy of the signed closing docs to be sent to me through the US postal service - that were not provided to me at the day of the May 11, 2020 closing (and really should have been - as was done through my experience with other house closings in the past over my 23-yr, 7 mo. military active and civilian career, I had signed 2 copies at same time - one for me and for the other copy to stay for file of seller personnel)….It was a horrible closing experience through a "pandemic" - that was used by the builder attorney office as an excuse not to have any others attend the closing but office admin. and me, so a thank you here to Kelly! A hard copy was finally received at my new address on June 10.....
Quick, smooth and busy.
Veterans United was a seamless fit from the beginning. As a first-time home buyer, I had LOTS of questions and after living overseas, I had a lot to work out before my home purchase was finally possible. They were with me the entire way and walked me through every step.

This was my first home buying experience due to PCSing during my career and not wanting to buy where perviously stationed. When I finally decided to buy after retiring from the military, all I kept hearing was "Use Veteran's United". I'll spare you every detail, but from day ONE they made sure if I had any questions/concerns that they were addressed immediately. The whole process was smooth and stress-free. I ABSOLUTELY recommend them!
Huge shoutout to Jake Ferguson and his team at Veterans United. They delivered the most competitive deal, closed on time with no extension, and were incredibly communicative throughout the entire process. Jake and his team worked hard every single day including weekends and made the process smooth and stress free especially moving cross country. Highly recommend working specifically with Jake Ferguson’s team!
Veteran’s United was great to work with. Their process is streamlined and there is no fooling around. If you are serious (ACTUALLY SERIOUS) about buying a house, they will get you financed. I thought I was but really wasn’t before because I wasn’t ready to stop impulse buying and spending frivolously. Once I buckled down, they were the vehicle that got me the home. Thank you Veteran’s United!
Very helpful thru all the tasks. to complete the contract
It’s always a smooth sailing process working with Veterans United.
