This is my second time using Veteran’s United, and there was a reason I didn’t shop around. They give an honest and fair offer the first time. My builder required me to at least speak to their preferred lender. It took their lender a month plus, and 4 times presenting a different offer to even come close to what VU offered the first time. If I sell and buy again in the future, I will look to VU again.
Like I said before, done 3 closings with Matthew and his team. I will use their service for other closings on a home.
This process made everything so easy, very user friendly. Any and every questions I had were answered. Nothing was left up in the air!

I had some issues with credit and the team was able to help me figure them out to keep us on the time frame we were wanting. I had lots of questions because I am a first time homebuyer and did not know much about the process and I definitely was a needy buyer! They were very patient and never made me feel like I was asking for too much. I felt like with as little knowledge as I had, the team definitely helped my anxiety and made the process very smooth. I had lots of personal things happen the same time we were going under contract and the team, especially Kendall made me feel like I was more than a customer. He reached out after my car accident and was checking in and gave me lots of grace during the time period. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone. Especially those who are nervous and not too confident in this area, they did great walking me through all the steps. I never felt like an inconvenience and they made sure to answer the questions in a way that did not make me feel silly for asking. For being very naive about the subject, I do not feel as if they were taking advantage of my lack of knowledge. I had experienced family looking over everything I was told/ advised. The team was not aware and not once did family have any concerns about what the team was presenting to me. Very respectful people. Also they communication was better than I could’ve asked for. It did not matter the time or day, the response time was always very reasonable. I am very happy I decided to go with VU and even more grateful that I got to work with the team I had.

My parents couldn’t never afford to own a house and here I am in my living room. My living room! Growing up in apartments and moving every few year and now I have a house. Stable house that I own. Everyone has been incredibly helpful and polite, and the whole experience went smoother than butter. I was skeptical about the company at first because they asked for some personal information in order to receive a quote, so I naturally gave some bogus answers just to fill in the required slots. Our loan officer called us, and between him and his team, our minds were put at ease. We went from living on a pretend street called "Nunya Business" to closing on our first home. When my husband's orders were put on hold due to SARS-CoV-2, the company was with us every step of the way to make sure we were doing okay. They knew between the limbo with PCS orders and me still working as a nurse, our family was under a bit of stress (as are most others around the world). They sent our family board games to keep us entertained and connected while we were at home as the world went crazy around us.
