Overall the experience took quite a bit of work but nonetheless we were happy with the outcome. The team was very tentative and responded swiftly to any concerns that we had. They made the process move along very smoothly with no discrepancies and had a answer for every question that we had.
Jose has worked with me for over a year and one half helping me close on a new home. He has helped me swim through the muck of a robust housing market, while I was simultaneously going through a heart-wrenching divorce, releasing my old home through an assumption process, speeding to beat inflation and rising interest rates, and finally guiding me through a complete ground-up build with a new home. Impossible for any loan to trump that! He helped me climb a monstrous mountain, and ultimately make it to the top. There is no doubt in my mind that Jose has a warrior spirit that every Marine I know shares as well. Jose is professional, patient, loyal, and compassionate to our veterans. Trust and grit are hard to find in these times we live in. Jose possesses both of these traits. I am deeply appreciative of everything he has provided to me and my family. In addition to Jose, Paige and Jesse were also very informative and helpful as well! I strongly recommend Jose and his team to help you successfully pound your way through the mortgage process! As a first time homebuyer, VU has been amazing! The only time I even felt anxious is post closing and that was simply the excitement. There was a lot that came up with our loan that made it take a lot longer than normal. ( nothing on their end it was all stuff we personally had to fix.) through all of it Lucas and Rachel stuck with us every step of the way through all the stress until our wonderful signing day. In seven months their was not a single time I had a question that wasn’t answered by one of those two. They always picked up. Two wonderful people I would send anyone to them!
