Would not recommend. Our experience was terrible. We have purchased past homes with other companies which went smoothly and were not anywhere near as stressful as this was. The team was incompetent and disorganized. They asked us to provide things over and over again “in hopes it would have what they are looking for.” Communication was nonexistent. They didn’t even know information that was clearly in our documents and application, ourselves and our realtor had to point things out to them. Overall we felt like our case was handled poorly.

I will never recommend using Veterans United and Jerry specifically ever. They have dropped the ball on our deal, by setting up our escrow account completely wrong, which cause it to go into a $3000+ negative balanced at end of year one and increased our monthly payment by over $300 per month. They did not follow the Tax Certification Sheet nor did they setup up the Property tax payments properly, as they were supposed to. If you deal with them, highly recommended hiring a financial advisor from somewhere else to go over the paperwork and numbers separately to make sure they don’t make mistakes like that. Awful company, even worse agent. Definitely not coming back to this one.
