This had nothing to do with Macie or Jen but with the ones making the final decision---
I understand that my situation was probably a bit out of the norm however I became weary of having to provide multiple "proofs" that my property was indeed my property and has been so legally for over 2 years. (A)--First it was the paperwork stating that this property was filed in my name in the courthouse. (B)--Then it was proof that my husband's will had been probated and then (C) they required a copy of his will. In my layman's mind it follows that if A was established then B must have happened in accord with C. Providing all this information in separate timeframes only lengthened the loan process and truly caused a bit of anxiety for me.
Veterans United Home Loans provided an exception mortgage and closing experience. Previous home mortgage and closing experiences pale to Veterans Home Loan processes, exceptional staff, and unbelievable network that allowed us to close in 3 weeks. I applaud this mortgage company.
Working with Clint Lanier was great! He made this process very smooth and easy to understand. My family and I thank him for his great communication and patience. He was very attentive and knowledgeable when answering all of our questions and concerns. I will highly recommend all my family and friends to Clint when anyone decides on buying a home.
