Going with Veterans United was the best decision we could make, they took care of all the behind the scenes paperwork with the VA. While keeping us informed completely along the way.

Joe was excellent

Very seamless process and great follow up

Things did not go well for me, things kept getting pushed back and I’m not exactly who was responsible for it. I was 1-2 weeks ahead of schedule on my end and the ball was dropped somewhere. I can’t point the finger at anybody but me and my family are down about 1000$ unnecessarily. On top of that they claimed that they fought for us to get back some compensation but I’m not suprised that we were let down.
Response from Veterans United
Hey Gabriel,
I'm really sorry to hear how things went for you and your family. It’s clear you worked hard to stay ahead, and to still come out the other side feeling delayed, disappointed, and out-of-pocket—that’s incredibly frustrating. I would feel the same way in your shoes.
Even if you’re not sure exactly where things went off track, I want you to know that we’re taking your feedback seriously. We never want our borrowers to feel like they were left hanging or let down, especially when it comes to something as important as timing and financial clarity. The fact that you were told we were pushing for compensation and ended up disappointed—yeah, that stings, and I’m sorry.
I’d really appreciate if my team had the chance to look deeper into what happened on our end. If you’re open to it, please reach out to our Client Advocate team at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com. We’re here Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST, and happy to talk whenever you’re ready.

Lance and his team were great every step of the way.

This is my second time using Veterans United they are a top notch company and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to buy a home.

Veterans United will be the anchor - the rock - that maintains your excitement in buying a home. Home buying, to me, was an experience that could have been ripped from the script of Dante's Inferno, somewhere near Limbo. There was so much uncertainty, but Veterans United personnel, like Chad, Ryan, and others which were equally helpful, assured me that the train was on the tracks, and headed in the right direction. Heaping praise on them is nice, but what is truly important is to know that they are highly trained, and very good at their jobs! Trusting them is all that I needed to do in order for the weight of the experience to be lifted from my shoulders, and for joy to be the dominate force. When Veterans United pairs you with a professional, that person is there to serve veterans like like you, me, and in at least one case, their selves. I am currently moving in to my new home, thanks to Veterans United and their team. A special thank you to my realtor, Ceci Bonneckson as well.

Tuff timing but everyone got it done just wanted to keep an eye out for better interest rates in the future

Tom and the team did an amazing job. Up front disclosures and communication from the team are a trait that can not put a value on.

Veteran's United went above and beyond to get me the lowest APR on my loan. That's a huge savings over the life of a home loan, and is the best service a lender can provide for their customer. I highly recommend contacting Michelle Dapkus at Veterans United if you're considering a home loan.

My experience with Lisa and Alexandra was great and very smooth. In the other hand my experience with Michaela, my real estate agent, could've been better, i feel like she wasn't confident enough nor was putting enough effort. Out of all the homes we viewed 90% were houses we took out of our time to send to her. Although we ended up going with a home that she showed us, the 3 houses she introduced to us weren’t even close to our needs or our expectations, from floor plans to backyard to fence and most importantly location.
