They referred me to a realtor in the area in which I was looking, who is very knowledgeable in VA Lending and finding the perfect home for me! I left the army in 2009. I wanted to purchase a home but learned that my SSN was reported deceased. After a long battle with the social security department I finally got enough proof that I was really alive. Turns out that they believe that when I was injured in Iraq in 2008 that “someone” reported I was KIA and my mother had even gotten a call from the Red Cross that I had died.
Now that you know the back story, I had to completely rebuild my credit. Veteran United actually help guide me with its credit building teams to rebuild my credit. It did take a little over a year but I got it in range to where I would get qualified for a home loan. Eventually leading to this very moment where I’m a home owner and just spent my first night at my new home! Thank you everyone who helped along the way!

Asli was great! She had solutions too problems with our seller that definitely helped get over hurdles that would have delayed our closing. We closed on time and in the end it was because Asli went above and beyond to stay on top of the loose ends and get problems resolved.
