Although it took a while in closing the loan due to the necessary repairs and renovations, in the end everything turned out great.
Kathy Monnig was also helpful. It was the first time buying a home for me (husband second home) and she made me feel important and at ease with the whole process. She was very sweet and knew how nervous I was but still helped me through everything like it was a piece of cake. Made the waiting through each step much easier to deal with since I’m super impatient. I was lucky to have everyone helping me and I would recommend then to anyone.

Excellent experience could not have been better
Veterans United personnel and the website were helpful in getting approval. I contributed 38% of the home purchase price out of pocket but it didn't improve or expedite the loan approval process. The scrutiny for obtaining a loan was over-bearing. I have purchased 3 homes previously. I find it hard to believe that many applicants can obtain a loan with VU. So apparently I'm one of the few that skirted the process successfully. I don't recall being requested to show proof that I'm a Veteran. That would seem to be one of the first steps if this company is truly dedicated to helping veterans. Happy Marine Corps Birthday (Veterans Day). Sincerely, bryan winton
