UDAAP complaint has been submitted to Consumer Fraud Protection based on our experience with Veterans United, and specifically the bait and switch tactics used for our interest rate. As two disabled combat veterans living in our home, we will continue to not only not recommend Veterans United to other Veterans, but actively advocate and advise against working with this company.

Jennifer Stewart and her entire staff were extremely courteous and professional throughout my loan process. Anytime I reached out to ask a question, Ms. Stewart or a staff member would respond right away with a detail explanation. Dana Derrick made my experience flawless; she always welcomed my calls (me) with a smile on her face or in her voice. Just terrible. 40 days to underwrite a solo applicant with No debt and an 800 credit score. Always was told "we need just this last thing to get you approved.." Heard that numerous times. No sense of urgency. Just left everything up in the air until the very last business day.

As a first time home buyer, I wish more industry terms were explained to me. I looked terms up to ensure I understood what was happening. I believe the verbiage is so heavily used that it’s second nature. A few times I asked questions and received a prompt response, which was amazing. I was always encouraged to ask questions and was accommodated because of my work schedule. I will definitely work with Veterans United in the future!
The team at Veterans United was more then phenomenal, assisted me every step of the way. Not one question went unanswered and with being a first time home buyer I was uneasy and uncertain but they put my mind at ease with quick responses and aid all the way.
