They honored the fact that I am a veteran from day one. The entire team is amazing. I applied with other lenders, and did not qualify from the onset and was dismissed. When I applied with Veterans United I had less than stellar credit but Brooke Roberts stepped in and gave me financial advise to help qualify for the loan. Once approved Jeremy Henry, our loan specialist stepped in and talked us through the next steps of our loan process. He is knowledgeable, courteous and so friendly. Down the stretch loan coordinator Stephanie Vossen took us through the finish line seemlessly. She made sure all our documents were in order, fielded all kinds of questions during all times of day.

only thing I can say is you have to have ALOT of patience. They make you jump thru alot of hoops per say. The underwriting team is too tough. And don't ask for everything in the beginning. They made it go on longer then it should have. Overall we were very frustrated and was ready to give up. So was the seller.
Communication between myself and my Loan Coordinator, Rachel, seemed to be a constant issue. When she was able to be reached she was very pleasant and very helpful, however I had to reach out to her via phone call or email several times in a day, and often times found myself having to contact Ryan with my questions.
My only complaint is that the final VA appraisal took over a month to get done, I was told this is abnormal and the rest of the process went smoothly. CJ and Andrew both helped a ton!
Would definitely recommend. I had an amazing experience from day one with the customer service and kindness that I received from everyone involved in my first home buying experience.
