If one of my veteran brothers or sisters is considering using their VA benefits to buy a home, I recommend United Veterans. Here's why....they do what they say in guiding a person through a very fluid process. The pace and work to be done is given to you through a Private Portal to guide and communicate where you are in the process and anything you need to get done to keep the process moving. You will have a huge impact on how fast you move to a closing date! DO NOT listen to the Realtor to determine the Closing Date. Your UV team will tell you and you will take it to the bank.
There are many choices for mortgages and refinancing. Veterans United has assisted me twice. Both experiences were outstanding. Their loan specialist (Collin & Monica) who have helped me did outstanding jobs. If your searching home mortgages my advice is use Veterans United. They will exceed your expectations.

I shopped around for a good Mortgage company. My previous mortgage was with Navy Federal and I went through them for a new pre-approval prior to learning about Veterans united. After 90 days the pre-approval had expired and reapplying through NFCU seemed like it became even more of a hassle. My friend told me about VU and after going through their pre-approval process, I was already amazed.
