The team at VU has been great and timely in all things we needed handled. They were patient and helpful with our questions as well and made sure we understood the responses.

Information sent by us needed to be reviewed right off and not weeks later when there is missing information or information not to their liking causing us to scramble last minute for additional information.
Loan was supposed to close on Friday the 25th and didn’t close until Monday the 28th loosing 2-1/2 days of moving and rescheduling furniture and appliance deliveries to be postponed.
Plus on Monday we were only given a one hour notice to close causing us to rush to the bank for the closing check and the 45 minute drive to the title company.

I’m really sorry to hear how stressful this experience turned out to be—especially so close to closing. When documents are reviewed late or information is flagged at the last minute, it puts a ton of pressure on you as the buyer, and that’s not how this process should go. You were doing your part, and it’s frustrating to feel like your timeline was derailed anyway.
I can’t imagine how difficult it was to rearrange your whole weekend—rescheduling deliveries, moving plans, and then being told on Monday that you had just one hour to get to the closing table. That kind of last-minute scramble takes the excitement out of what should’ve been a huge moment.
