There was a bit of a miscommunication about trying to close early, but that might have been because I didn’t tell all parties involved (I thought they would communicate that amongst themselves).
I believe the best thing was the lack of feeling stressed. Veterans United and especially the great people working on my loan made every aspect easy and always came off very friendly and approachable. I knew that if any type of question came up, Ryan Herman would be there to answer as well as the rest of the team. You guys made this experience a one-of-a-kind memory for not only myself but my son as well.
I highly prefer talking to someone like knows about construction like Lance, super great and knowledge. Same with other staff but he stood out the most.

Mike is dedicated, fast, efficient, and will give you an honest, no-BS answer. He will go above and beyond to make sure things go right. He was still sending me documents at 11pm on a Friday night trying to help me out of an emergency situation, whereas my previous lender took 7 days vacation and came back a week before closing to tell me he couldn't do what Team Mange knocked out in record time!

We were first introduced to Justin and his team over two years ago. Unfortunately, due to other issues that house did not go to closing. Justin would periodically check in with us to check how our search was going. No pressure, just an occasional contact. When we found our current house, our previous experience with Justin was so favorable, we immediately contacted him. He provided first rate service, responded to our questions promptly and accurately, and was always available to ensure we ended up with our "forever home". He, and his team, are great representatives for your company!

Working with VU was a smooth process from start to close. Everyone was always very helpful, someone was always checking in, all our questions were always answered. The best was all the help setting up utilities, security, change of address forms, it’s all in the app and was so great! The only hiccup we had was delayed responses at times, numbers that were not as good as other lenders, and never knowing exactly what the final payment was going to be. We understand numbers can change, but some numbers were off by a couple hundred dollars and they weren’t fluctuating numbers. All in all we would use VU again.
