Rebekah Moncrief was absolutely amazing. She was extremely helpful and had open communication throughout the entire process (including even while she was on vacation!!). We would not be in our new home without her!

Cameron made the difference even though VA loans can be challenging. Every question was answered. It was easier texting for me while working and Cameron accommodated my request.

Highly recommend Veteran’s and Military to utilize Veteran’s United. Veteran’s United Keeps you informed every step of the way as well as provide support and education for each step of the process. We have used Veteran’s United for our initial loan and 2 refi’s and have had the same team throughout, which streamlined the process and was seamless. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely use them again

Thank you guys all so much. We are so happy to finally have a home of our own for our growing family. The process wasn't hard at all, and the team worked with me every step of the way.

We have numerous mortgage home loans during our lifetime through large banks and credit unions, but Veterans United was an exceptional lender. No one can surpass the way they process their mortgage loans. They have an excellent team, special mention to Jason Gibson who was very professional and easy to work with. He made our loan process seamless. I will highly recommend Veterans United with family and friends.

Allyssa was great to work with kept me informed

I cannot leave out Mrs. Health. She has done more than what’s expected of the Loan Coordinator. She deserves a promotion. She’s been kind, hard-working & loyal to me. She got to experience my father. Thank You Mrs. Heath. She’s always went out of her way to respond to a call, email. Etc. she’s had countless hours working for me & getting the answers she needs to close this out. Cannot Thank You Enough….

Hi Gregory, We would like to invite you to reach out to your Client Advocate team here at Veterans United to discuss further details on your recent experience. Providing information to our team will help us assist in training and education that will better assist further veterans. Thank you and thank you for your service.

Thanks You!!!

I was told there was an inspection done on the house, the defects I'm find lead me to believe it wasn't done or the inspector was incompetent.
Response from Veterans United
Hi Seith, We understand that this is a stressful situation. With the paperwork we have on file, there is nothing to indicate anything is wrong with the home. This is a situation that we rely on all other parties when completing the transaction. You are at liberty to choose the property you want to purchase with your real estate agent and then we order an appraisal to make sure the home is valued at the purchase price at minimum but this is not the same as a home inspection which we encourage our borrowers to order. We also receive title work to make sure there are no other liens against you or the property and that it can be insured against at least the price to rebuild.
We are happy to help try and point you in the right direction if possible. Here are the options we have seen work in the past:
1. Contact the home inspector. A home inspection is going to be a much more thorough assessment of the home’s structure and inner workings. An inspection is not required by Veterans United but highly recommended. Inspectors typically have protections to help out in situations where they may have missed something.
2. Contact the VA Regional Loan Center. If you feel like this is something that was missed by an appraiser please let the VA know. The appraiser is there to assess the value of the property and make sure the home is safe, sound and secure. The appraiser is not going to be able to see there is any faulty wiring but feel free to discuss these issues with them. You can find their contact info here: https://www.benefits.va.gov/homeloans/contact_rlc_info.asp [benefits.va.gov]
3. If there was something not disclosed by the seller or agent please contact a real estate attorney. They will better be able to assess your situation to see if there is any financial relief you can receive.
