I purchased another house in 1996 and the process is so much easier now utilizing computers programs e.g., texts and emails. My VA home loan application went quickly. The team paid attention that my house came with chickens and the house warming gifts were chicken related.

I think the underwriters need to read the documents prior to requesting new documents. As in our case we sent the same document to answer questions 4 times. Most of the documents needed in our case they already had. The rest was on us and a pain but we got it done. Allen was very helpful, and responsive to questions and concerns.

The checklist and to do list they give you breaks everything down into small steps and makes it so easy! Without it I wouldn’t have known where to start, and I definitely wouldn’t have finished! Closed on my house in about 30 days, which was amazing and I got to move into my new house before my report date. 10/10 will recommend to any of my army friends looking into buying a house!
