Veterans United along with my Loan Officer Sydney and my Realtor Kimberly made the entire home buying process as pain free and simple as I think it could of been. All questions were answered and concerns alleviated during the entire process. I would easily recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a house.
Please do appraisals before inspections to avoid unnecessary costs if the appraisal comes back less than contracted offer. Check for private roads because you may need a private road agreement/waiver Have all name changes updated in ebenefits so the Certificate of Eligibility isn't delayed. Ask Sellers if they had any equity loans/ lines of credit on the home in the past to provide statements to show they were paid in full. Be mindful of subdivision name changes as some places don't track them but are reflected on deeds etc. Use discernment on whether you are wanting to purchase a home as is because the home inspection (Highly recommrnded) may come back with more optional repairs than the appraisal. Highly recommend negotiating bulk of the closing cost into the offer.

A very professional staff and they work hard to complete the processing of your loan. I was surprised at having to spend about $900 on appraisal, termite inspection, and well water test. Overall the experience was very good.
I am grateful for the assistance provided by Veterans United, but the only real complaint I have is not getting return phone calls. Especially when I was told to expect a phone call on a certain day/time. Other than that 👍🏽
if the veteran gets shawn glover as their loan officer she will go above and beyond for you. She explains everything to you. Just an out right great loan officer and her team.
