I did a cash out refinance with Veterans United twice. Both times, they offered me a lower rate than other lenders. The process was easy, with a team of individuals ready to assist or answer questions at any given notice.
Overall we had a pretty good experience. The underwriter I feel was being a little nitpicky. They only wanted us to lower our debts by $120 a month. I feel like that was a little bit of overkill.
