Veterans United has a very smooth, easy to follow process for getting you to closing day. They are usually quick to respond and easy to work with. The only improvement I would like to see would be finishing final loan disclosures and finalizing the settlement with Title well ahead of closing day.
I was nervous about going through the home buying process online. I had read some of the reviews and put myself in somewhat of a panic. Jeremy and Kathleen were an awesome team to work with. They crushed any fears about the homeowning process being a nightmare. I can only hope that anyone else has such a smooth transition as I did.

I would say that I was very clear regarding being a first time home buyer and that I did not really have a lot of knowledge of the process. I do wish that closing costs had come up in the initial pre-approval conversation with Veteran's United. Also, it would be better if the estimated closing costs would have been closer to the mark, as they were a source of real tension in my household when they jumped nearly $3000 from the initial estimate to the latter stage estimate. They did come back down for closing, but that sudden high closing estimate was stressful.
Nothing to add! I had no qualms or issues with any bit of the loan process.
As first time home buyers, my wife and I were a little nervous going into the home buying process.
