I was very upset with the last minute "requirements" that were placed on us. Title essentially required me to route paper work through my COC to verify that it doesn't cost me money to live on the ship while my family lives in FL. Essentially putting into question my word, and my ability to pay. I litterally have one of the highest credit scores and I'm still being questioned and having to jump through hoops for a loan. As a whole I was pretty disappointed with my service and felt taken advantage of. To this day I still don't understand why the costs at closing couldn't have been rolled into the loan. I guess it doesn't matter now just frustrated because I have to wait longer to give my faimly the things we want in our house.
Response from Veterans United
Jacob, the home buying process can become stressful when working to gather the required documentation. Thank you for sharing your open and honest feedback. Licensed Underwriters comply with regulations to ensure loans are properly documented, and we work to make that process as easy as possible. Although we can not be responsible for the actions of thrid party companies such as the title company, we do share that stress with you. Please reach out to us if you would like to discuss your experience further

From the very beginning of the process VU has been on top of it. Miguel and his entire team were in sync and kept us informed about what came next. Our calls and emails were returned in a timely manner by ALL of the team. We enjoyed the portal because it was easy to use and get documents added. VU has made this process seamless and we are so excited to be homeowners! We will definitely refer others to VU for their loan needs. Thanks Miguel, Keagan, Luke, Brannon, Kevin (Lighthouse Program), and Jeanne (Military United). You were all a class act and we appreciate you.

Veteran's United worked for me. I was in a situation where I had to move because the new owner of the apartment complex I rented from for the last 22 years wanted everyone out so he could begin his remodeling of the place. I called Veteran's United and the rest is history. It was worth my time to get in touch with them.

If it’s your first time buying a home and you can get a loan team with Nick Holman (loan officer) and Lauren Hearn (real estate agent) you are good to go! You won’t stress about anything. If you have doubts about buying a home because of lack of experience or just the fact that it all seems overwhelming, just talk to one of them and watch how fast those doubts go away! Both are awesome teachers and will be patient and understanding. They will be there with you every step of the way and then some!
My home buying experience was great, the entire process was quicker and easier than I imagined!

From through the whole process nothing but outstanding service.

The whole team is really put together and organized. They try to help you out 100 percent!

We loved working with Veterans United and would absolutely recommend them above any other home loan group! They made the process absolutely flawless and took the stress out of the home buying process. Thank you VU!!

Just truly amazing work from start to finish. This was our first home and between Laurie Henighan knowing what houses were good to be backed up by the v.a. And Matt Lucas and his team being on top of all the info and details needed was amazing. Will work with them again in the future for future house purchases.

Very professional
