All team members who assisted me with my home loan process made the experience a happy one vs. nervous with questioning. They all collaborated to make sure my documents were handled safely and accurately. It was a pleasure working with them and I will definitely refer friends moving forward.
I would not recommend Veteran’s United if you’re a first time homebuyer. They seem to act too busy to give any attention to their clients unless you complain. It feels like you’re more of a number than a client. Even after explaining something multiple times, they will have proved to have ignored you when it comes time to sign things at closing. Their emails convey to the customer that you are nothing more than a paycheck. In no way through the process was I made to feel comfortable.

Loan process was easy and simply done online. We like the convenience and less paperwork, and the electronic signing was easy. Dan Salter was great to work with and he answered all our questions and explained the documents. He returned calls immediately.
Easy process can be a bit tedious with paperwork but worth it in the end. Would recommend very good people that care about veterans. Glad I crossed paths with them especially Nick my loan officer great guy.
