This was my first-ever home purchase in San Antonio's deeply "seller-advantaged" market and my VA loan officer was still able to offer me incredibly competitive rates and discounts that offset the costs of homes in the local market today. In addition, I encountered unique and hard challenges throughout the buying process that my loan officer smoothed out with the greatest of ease and met the closing date with time to spare.
