Be prepared for Veterans United to over estimate the cost of taxes. My city taxes on my home were estimated by the title company and assessor to be roughly $200 per year. Veterans United estimated them to be around $1900 per year after receiving the $200 estimate from the title company. When I inquired as to why it's increased that much, I did not receive a straight answer.

From initial call to closing, this has been the easiest most convenient process I've had in a home-buying experience. Jennifer Stewart is a not only extremely good at her job, she's also a wonderful person. Who looks forward to speaking to their loan officer? The ease of access is great. No super complicated sites to navigate. I think the most complicated thing I had to do was submit a copy of my LES, which isn't hard at all. Other than that, the e-signing process is super simple through the site they use. They found me better auto insurance that was cheaper, bundled with my homeowners insurance, than my old auto only insurance. Definitely recommending Veterans United to friends.

Poor service, follow up and too many bumps along the way. While we are grateful everything finally worked out, the entire experience was one of the worst experiences I’ve had in my home finance.
