Veterans United home buying process was made so simple and easy that I was amazed! John Sullivan and his team was awesome! After my divorce and having a prior home Loan negatively impact my credit, I really had given up hope on being able to purchase another home anytime soon but thanks to Veterans United and their team guiding me from beginning to end it has been possible. Now my children and I are in an even better home! Since my original loan through VU I have since refinanced and just when I thought the process couldn't be anymore simple, they made it even easier! Thank you so much Veterans United for reigniting my dream and help making it come true!
I appreciate the promptness and professionalism of our home loan specialist and our overall experience with Veteran’s United. However, the terms of our loan changed unexpectedly due to an error on VU’s part who had 60 days to discover/communicate the problem, but was not found/communicated until 3 days prior to close. This was frustrating as our primary goal was to reduce the time line of our existing mortgage. While our interest rate was honored, the lender credit promised from the get-go was no longer honored, presumedly to offset VU’s costs associated with their error. This felt punitive. We moved forward with the refinance only because of the savings associated with the lower interest rate. Other than this upset, the overall process was easy, convenient and relatively smooth.
Easiest refi we have ever done. Closed in less than 30 days. Wow!
All home buying will be rocky at times, they did the job even during the times of not knowing what was going on in the background, things got done.

This was hands down our smoothest VA home buying experience to date (and we’ve been through the process 3 times previously). We will never use another lender again! Veterans United is always super responsive, on the ball, and just really care. Their customer service is exceptional. We actually were able to close early!
